This is the eight-hour prelicensing module required by West Virginia.
It is held online (Zoom).

Prerequisite:
Students eligible to participate must have previously successfully completed a 70-hour course approved by Virginia or Maryland.
This module, combined with proof of having completed an approved 70-hour class meets the prelicensing training requirement for West Virginia.

Q: Can I take this module if I got my original 70 hours from a different school?
A: Yes. It does not matter where you took the initial training. As long the course you took was approved by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) or the Maryland Department of Labor (DLLR), you're good to go.
Q: Will this module be offered in person?
A: Yes, the 8-hour WV module will be offered in Arlington, VA on August 15, 2026.
Q: Is there another time that the module will be offered?
A: If there is a time (evenings, for instance) that would work better for you, please let us know. We will try to accomodate you.
